Therapeutic Laser
“Photobiomodulation” is the use of specific wavelengths of light (red and near-infrared) to create a therapeutic effect. The Class IV laser used by CAPM achieved FDA approval in the U.S. in 2002 and penetrates deep into tissue to increase circulation and improves the transport of nutrients across cell membranes, which then reduces inflammation, swelling, muscle spasms, stiffness and pain. The treatment is painless and owners are encouraged to be present.
